Event Description: Join us for the 11th Annual Recovery March and Candlelight Vigil on Thursday, September 10th in St. Johnsbury. Pizza and sign making will begin at 4pm. The Recovery March begins at 5pm from the Kingdom Recovery Center, located at 297 Summer St. The march continues onto Main Street and ends at the Caledonia Court House Park. The night will end with speakers, awards and a Candlelight Vigil in remembrance of those we have lost to addiction. Also, this event is held as a reminder that there is Hope for the future. Please join us to help celebrate Recovery!

Event Description: Lunenburg’s annual “Grub on the Green”, a community wide potluck meal, will be held on the Lunenburg Common (route 2 in center of town) noon – 2 p.m.. This is a free event. All welcome - residents of Lunenburg and neighboring communities, as well as visitors to the area, and those just passing through. Bring some food of your choice to share (main dish, side dish, or a combination) and maybe a lawn chair. If you’re not able to bring something along, please come anyway! Comfort Country, with Tim Berry, Lee Baker, JoAnne Gilman, and Suzan Shute, will provide entertainment. FMI: www.topofthecommon.org

Event Description: Our biggest festival of the year is our annual Fall Foliage Festival located in East Burke Village on the green at the Burke Mountain Clubhouse/East Burke Library. The days' events include: Parade starts at 10:00 Rubber Duck Race Kids Area with a Jump House, face painting and more Horse Drawn Wagon Rides Farm Animal Petting Zoo Cow Plop Bingo Craft Show opens at 9 am - 3 pm - featuring 75 vendors! Silent Auction inside the library featuring work from local artists & crafters, unique historical items and antiques Interactive Reptile Exhibit from Reptiles on the Move at 11 am at the Gazebo Chickweed performs from 12:30 - 2:30 pm at the Gazebo Beer & Wine Tent Open from 11 am - 6 pm (located at Mike's Tiki Bar!) Live Music from Tritium Well! 3 - 6 pm at Mike's Tiki Bar. The East Burke Congregational Church will have a luncheon of soup and sandwiches in the fellowship hall, a craft table, shoebox auction of local donations from businesses and individuals, tag sale, cookie walk (a favorite), and a jelly cabinet full of jams and jellies.
