An alleged madam has been charged in connection with prostitution at a Brattleboro spa, and prosecutors say more charges could be coming. Police say Pok Sun Kim, 63, of Williamsburg, Virginia, was arrested and charged with profiting upon the earnings of prostitutes. A warrant was served at the Rainbow Therapeutic Spa Wednesday which authorities say led to probable cause for the arrest. The investigation is continuing with a focus on possible human trafficking, as well. “Recognizing that often times people engaged in prostitution are truly victims and they are the ones being trafficked. So, we are continuing to investigate, seeing if there are more layers. There is a lot of material to go through,” said Windham County Deputy State’s Attorney Dana Nevins. Kim is due in court next month. If convicted, she faces up to 10 years behind bars. Both state and federal authorities are involved in the investigation.
