Drivers in a two-vehicle crash on Memorial Drive in Lyndon on Saturday were taken to Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital

Vermont State Police reported that drivers in a two-vehicle crash on Memorial Drive in Lyndon on Saturday were taken to Northeastern Vermont Regional Hospital for evaluation of non-life-threatening injuries. Trooper David Hastings stated Michelle Lancaster, 32, of Newport, was operating a 2017 Toyota Rav 4 and was pulling out of a driveway onto Memorial Drive about 11:15 a.m. on Saturday when the vehicle was struck by a 2020 Ford Escape being driven south on Memorial Drive by Estelle Simpson, 66, of Lyndonville. The trooper noted neither woman was wearing a seat belt. Both vehicles were totalled in the crash.
