Police are asking the public for help identifying a woman who was found dead in the Merrimack River

Police are asking the public for help identifying a woman who was found dead in the Merrimack River in New Hampshire. Her body was found on April 28 in Bow. Police have released an artist’s rendering of the woman. She’s described as 30-40 years old, about 5-feet-4-inches tall, with brown hair and eyes. Call the police in Bow at 603-223-3956 if you can provide any information as to the identity of this woman. Police say there is no indication of any danger to the public.

Bradford Police reported finding fentanyl, 14 pounds of marijuana and $14,000 cash after executing a search of a Barton man’s vehicle and belongings last week. Patrick Johnson, 42, is facing charges of fentanyl possession, trafficking, and transportation into the state, and possession and sale of marijuana following police investigation that began on April 22. Johnson had been suspected of driving while under intoxication.  Through the course of the investigation, police seized Johnson’s vehicle and other items and applied for search warrants. “Upon the execution of these search warrants, officers seized over 15 pounds of marijuana, several grams of suspected fentanyl, approximately $14,000 cash, and other evidence of illicit drug transactions,” noted the police report. Johnson was cited to appear in Orange Superior Court on June 15.
