The bone-jarring, super-fast Enduro World Series mountain bike race kicks off its inaugural East Coast-stage this morning at Burke Mountain. The two-day event features world class cyclists from 35 different countries battling it out on rough, mountainous terrain. Fans can get right up close and personal to the fast-paced action. In the evenings, there’s live music, lots of barbecue and the biggest bike brands are there to show off their gear, too. The racers’ next stop is in Sugarloaf Maine before heading back to the continent in Switzerland and culminating in France to determine the series champions. For more information go to ews.skiburke.com
