Vermont State Police are searching for two men they believe drowned in Seymour Lake in Morgan

The Vermont State Police are searching for two men they believe drowned in Seymour Lake in Morgan. The Police received a report at 11:45 a.m. yesterday morning from a witness who said they saw two men in a canoe who overturned while on the lake. The witness told police that the men tried to swim to shore but went under the water and did not resurface. First-responders were unable to locate the individuals. The State Police SCUBA Team and airboats are on scene for what police say is expected to be a recovery operation.
