Three people were charged with crimes for their alleged role in vandalism at the Comfort Inn in St. Johnsbury. Vermont State Police were called to the hotel last Friday after a vehicle was found with all four tires slashed and every one of the windows broken. Following an investigation, police located Justin French, 35, of West Topsham at the Inn, took him into custody and charged him with unlawful mischief. He was also found to have several outstanding warrants for second-degree aggravated domestic assault, violating probation, firearm possession while on probation and criminal threatening. Police also charged Alisha Wedge, 34, West Topsham and Kayla Cabey, 31, Bradford with aiding and abetting the alleged crime. They were each cited to appear in court on January 30, 2023.
