Trump was able to pick up about a dozen more towns
Donald Trump may not have won in Vermont Tuesday but he did improve his results from 2020. Trump was able to pick up about a dozen more towns compared to 2020, most of them in Rutland County. The towns with the highest overall vote for Trump were Searsburg at 67 percent, Irasburg at 64 percent, and Holland at 60 percent. By contrast, larger population areas like Burlington and South Burlington had more than 70 percent of votes supporting Harris. Norwich was the biggest Harris supporter at 85 percent. Fayston and Warren also both topped 80 percent.
