A Brandon man faces assault and robbery charges

A Brandon man faces assault and robbery charges after police say he robbed a gas station at knifepoint Sunday night. It happened around 7:45 p.m. at the Green Mountain Market gas station on McConnell Road. Brandon Police say Joey Sherwood, 34, left with a large amount of cash. Nobody was injured.
