A former Vermont school bus driver serving time in prison is faceing new charges

A former Vermont school bus driver serving time in prison for sexually abusing two young boys is faceing new charges. Police say in the mid-2000s, Jerry Normandin, 65, of Milton, sexually abused multiple young boys over the course of several years. Now, he’s due back in court on Sept. 19 to face new charges of aggravated sexual assault and lewd and lascivious conduct with a child. The new charges come after police say someone came forward about abuse that happened when he was a juvenile up until Normandin was sent to prison. Normandin is currently serving time at the Southern State Correctional Facility in Springfield and is scheduled to be released in less than two years on previous charges.
