A new Vermont program aims to ease the housing crunch
A new Vermont program aims to ease the housing crunch by helping Vermonters move into an affordable home. The Mobile Home Infill Program seeks to help Vermonters purchase a mobile home while simultaneously freeing up, where those buyers live now, for other Vermonters. The program makes mobile homes available for sale at-cost to eligible low- and middle-income homebuyers. The state has identified 57 lots up for grabs from Bennington to Milton to St. Johnsbury. Those impacted by flooding can apply now. The application opens for everyone on November 15th.
