A woman was found safely on a mountain trail

A woman was found safely on a mountain trail in Westmore on Sunday afternoon. At around 1:30 p.m., Vermont State Police were notified that a woman had ventured into the woods on Long Pond Road and could not be located by her boyfriend. Police and emergency services from surrounding towns were dispatched for a search and rescue operation. About two hours after the initial search began, Glover Ambulance Squad confirmed that they had found her.
