Courthouses across the northern part of the state will be closed to the public
Courthouses across the northern part of the state will be closed to the public on April 8 because of anticipated road closures and high traffic due to the eclipse. That includes counties like Chittenden, Franklin, Grand Isle, Lamoille, Orleans, Caledonia, Essex and Washington. Any updates will be posted on the Vermont Judiciary website. Courthouses in other Vermont counties will remain open.
