EVLO Energy Storage and Vermont Electric Cooperative on site August 16

The U.S. Department of Energy, Sandia National Laboratories, EVLO Energy Storage and Vermont Electric Cooperative on site August 16 to celebrate an operational launch. Friday, August 16, from 12:00-1:00 pm, at the North Troy Battery site. Near intersection of Route 101 and next to VEC’s North Troy Substation.  Please park on road. The partners will present brief remarks about the newly operational battery storage project and the collaborative partnership that will help ratepayers save money by managing peak electrical demand. This innovative technology is an exciting and promising new frontier in efficient grid management. There will be a visual display of the battery project installation, with remarks from the partner representatives. The event will be outdoors and held rain or shine. Please dress appropriately; rugged shoes recommended.
