One man is dead after an officer-involved shooting
One man is dead after an officer-involved shooting in Plymouth, New Hampshire, in which six police officers fired their weapons. It happened early Thursday morning at the Federal House Inn on Route 25. Authorities say police responded Wednesday afternoon for a disturbance. When they arrived, officers say they heard gunshots from inside and determined the man had a riffle. They say they tried to get him to surrender for hours but he refused to come out. The man who was fatally shot has not been identified. He was found near a first-floor doorway. There were six members of the SWAT unit that discharged their firearms at the individual that was the subject of the disturbance that had been armed with a rifle, and the subject was pronounced deceased at the scene.
