Vermonts minimum wage will increase at the start of the new year

 Vermont’s minimum wage will increase at the start of the new year. The Vermont Department of Labor on Thursday said the minimum wage will increase to $14.01 per hour starting January 1, a 34-cent increase from the current rate. The minimum wage for tipped employees will increase to $7.01 per hour.
