VSP Continues Search for Shooter in Concord Avenue Incident That Injured 30 Year Old Man
The search for a shooter who took aim at a 30-year-old man outside a Concord Avenue residence on Tuesday afternoon continues. With assistance from town police, Vermont State Police is working to locate the person responsible for shooting Adam Belliveau, who was standing outside 217 Concord Ave. at the time his abdomen was struck by a bullet. Belliveau is hospitalized and being treated for his injuries and that his condition is “unavailable.” Emergency personnel rushed to the address following a 9-1-1 call from Ryan Dedonno at 2:18 p.m. on Tuesday. Dedonno applied pressure to the wound until police and CALEX Ambulance arrived. Belliveau was rushed to NVRHospital, which was temporarily placed in security lockdown. Belliveau was conscious and alert when he left the scene. Dedonno said Belliveau told him that the person who shot him was in a tan truck that was passing by the residence that had a New Hampshire registration. State police have not disclosed whether they believe the shooting to be random or targeted. The investigation of the incident on Wednesday included a visit at the Concord Avenue property by Caledonia County State’s Attorney Jessica Zaleski. She and VSP Det. Sgt. Drew Cota arrived just before 11 a.m. for her to assess the scene.
