The Vermont Hard Seltzer Co. is growing. Business partners Matt Young and Bud Stevens went to the Development Review Board with modest expansion plans. They propose to create a bigger parking lot and loading dock at their 37 Pleasant St. headquarters to accommodate larger delivery vehicles. They also intend to tear down a neighboring building at 216 Broad St. and convert the 17,000-square-foot parcel into an outdoor seating area. Stevens added that they want to incorporate food trucks, either regularly or during events. However, abutters and DRB members had questions about setbacks and buffers, property lines, drainage, traffic flow, parking, and other project details. The DRB requested that Young and Stevens return with a full site plan for the project.
