Police shot and killed an armed man outside of a home following a standoff
Police shot and killed an armed man outside of a home following a standoff, according to the New Hampshire attorney general’s office. The man died Monday night after six officers fired their guns and another discharged a less-lethal munition at him outside of the home in Kensington. No one else was hurt.
The man’s name wasn’t released. A Kensington police officer received information Monday afternoon about a man in the home who was reportedly threatening another occupant. Officers from the Seacoast Emergency Response Team and the Strafford County Regional Tactical Operations Unit responded and it was a multihour standoff. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation
