Police say a Vermont man was driving drunk with a child in the car

Police say a Vermont man was driving drunk with a child in the car when he crashed into a parked car and two boats in Northern New York. State police say it happened Thursday shortly after midnight in Morristown. They say Tyrone Perry, 29, of North Springfield, Vermont, lost control of his car, hit a parked car and a road sign, and then rolled over, hitting two parked boats. Troopers say Perry had two passengers in the car and one was a 2-year-old. Both passengers were medically evaluated at the scene and declined further treatment. Police say Perry showed signs of impairment at the scene and failed field sobriety tests. He was arrested on a felony count of driving while intoxicated with a child as a passenger.
