Two of Vermont’s Disaster Recovery Centers closed permanently on Saturday

Two of Vermont’s Disaster Recovery Centers closed permanently on Saturday. The first one in Waterbury, the second in Island Pond. Vermonters still in need of assistance can get help at The Lyndonville Public Safety Building and Hinesburg Town Hall, and, starting Wednesday, a new center in Newport will open at the municipal building. All three centers are open 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
