Man in Bradford disappeared because of criminal circumstances
Vermont State Police believe that a man in Bradford who hasn’t been heard from since Jan. 14 may have disappeared because of criminal circumstances. The family of Corey Crooker, 43, hasn’t seen him since Jan. 9, with the last communication coming from him on Jan. 14. State police initially suspected nothing suspicious about Crooker’s disappearance when they initially asked for the public’s help in locating him on Jan. 19. “Initial investigation suggested the disappearance of Corey Crooker was not suspicious, but further efforts by State Police have developed evidence that indicate the circumstances are potentially criminal in nature. the VSP stated Tuesday evening. Search of a property on Old Post Road in Bradford began on Tuesday and was to expected to continue on Wednesday. Investigators ask that anyone with information that could assist in the case contact the St. Johnsbury Barracks.
