Barnet Man Faces Multiple Charges After Domestic Incident in Lyndon

A Barnet man is facing multiple charges, including aggravated domestic assault and attempted escape, following an incident in Lyndon, according to Vermont State Police. Troopers responded to a report of a family fight at approximately 2:28 a.m. on Saturday, April 13. Following interviews with individuals at the scene, police arrested David Noyes, 25, of Barnet. The investigation determined that Noyes allegedly committed second-degree aggravated domestic assault, three counts of simple assault, aggravated disorderly conduct, unlawful mischief, and violation of court-ordered conditions. While handcuffed during the investigation, police say Noyes also  attempted to flee from troopers, resulting in an additional charge of attempted escape. Noyes was taken into custody and processed at the St. Johnsbury state police barracks. He was ordered held without bail and transported to the Northeast Correctional Complex.
