Ben Cohen Removed from Senate Hearing for Protesting RFK Jr Over AIDS and Vaccine Stances
Ben Cohen, co-founder of Ben & Jerry’s, was tossed out of a Senate hearing Wednesday for protesting against Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. After Kennedy’s testimony, people from the audience got up and began chanting, “RFK Jr. kills people with AIDS,” and charged toward the front of the room. Cohen and the protesters had to be forcefully removed by Capitol Police. Kennedy has been criticized for taking controversial stances on vaccines and raising questions about established science.
