Vermonters Can Now Renew Driver Licenses Early With Time Credited

Folks can now get their Vermont driver’s license renewal early with credit for the time remaining. The DMV says recent legislation means that driver’s licenses and non-driver IDs can be renewed well before they are set to expire. To be eligible for early renewal, the existing license or credential must have fewer than four full years remaining. Renewal can be done by mail or in person.
