Vermont State Police are asking for the publics help
Vermont State Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run in St. Johnsbury. On Monday afternoon at approximately 3:45 p.m., police were notified of a hit & run near the intersection of Field and Stream Road. Troopers were told that pedestrian Joshua Petelle, 36, of St. Johnsbury, had been struck by a vehicle that didn’t stop. Police say that a blue Subaru Outback was traveling south on Pierce Road and struck Petelle as he walked south along the shoulder. The vehicle described is a blue Subaru Outback with very dark rear tinted windows, slightly tinted front windows which includes the windshield, and a roof rack. The Subaru is suspected to be a newer model year, with unknown Vermont registration plates. Anonymous tips can also be made through the VSP website, vsp.vermont.gov/tipsubmit
