Reports mentioned that explosions could be heard coming from the barn, located at 534 Newark Street. About 80 percent of the barn was burning upon the first arrival of firefighters, according to scanner information. The cause for the source of the fire had yet to be determined as of Sunday, according to fire dispatch. Departments from West Burke, East Burke, Sutton and Lyndonville responded to the blaze along with Lyndon Rescue. The scene was cleared at 7:19 p.m.
