A man from East Boston, Mass. died on Sunday

A man from East Boston, Mass. died on Sunday after the car he was riding in crashed off Interstate 91 in Barton. Brian Sanchez, 18, was pronounced dead at North Country Hospital in Newport.  State Police Sgt. Joshua Mikkola reported that Ediberto Luna, 30, of East Boston, Mass. had been driving a 2013 Ford Explorer when the vehicle left the right side of the interstate, travelled down an embankment and struck the wood line and a concrete wall placed there to divert running water. Luna was taken to North Country Hospital and then transferred to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. Sgt. Mikkola noted that he suffered serious, life-threatening injuries. The front seat passenger, Jorge Caballeros, 33, of East Boston, Mass., also suffered serious injuries. Only Luna was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, Sgt. Mikkola noted.
