A sad ending to the search for a missing man in St. Albans. Authorities say Ryan Bell, 21 was found dead on Monday. Crews were searching for Bell, who went missing after he left work in St. Albans on Saturday. There were concerns for Bell’s welfare because he has epilepsy. Monday, the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office said a search crew that included a state police K-9 unit found Bell dead near a cornfield in St. Albans Town on Monday morning. They say a tip from a citizen led them to the location where the dog began tracking. Investigators believe Bell died of hypothermia and say no foul play is suspected. However, the investigation by Vermont troopers is still underway.
