A 14-year-old female died in a Side-By-Side rollover

A 14-year-old female died Saturday from injuries sustained in a Side-By-Side rollover on Ingersoll Lane. Personnel at the State Police’s Derby barracks responding to the 6:42 p.m. call concluded on scene that the 14-year-old operator lost control of a 2019 Polaris Ranger 1000 SXS while on private property off Ingersoll Lane. This caused the vehicle to overturn onto its side. Emergency dispatch transmissions indicated that CPR was administered, but the youth operator was pronounced dead at the scene. Two juvenile passengers sustained minor non-life-threatening injuries in the crash. Members of Orleans Fire Department and Orleans Ambulance Service assisted at the scene..
