A water notice has been placed on the village of Barton

 A water notice has been placed on the village of Barton. According to the town’s website, Barton Village is unable to treat and make water. They say this is due to high turbidity levels caused by recent storms. They also say that the water currently in the system is safe to drink, but water usage should be reduced as soon as possible. Bottled drinking water will be available to Barton Village residents at the Barton Village Office Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
