All Aboard St. Johnsbury’s Fall Foliage Trains
Train rides with scenice fall foliage views will be featured as part of the annual Fall for St. Johnsbury festivities on Oct. 10 and Oct. 11
On both days, trips will depart from the Welcome Center at 51 Depot Square in St. Johnsbury at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m., noon, 1:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
There will also be a scenic round trip between downtown St. Johnsbury and Barnet on Saturday, Oct. 10 aboard a train departing at 5 p.m. from the St. Johnsbury Welcome Center.
A 1.5-hour sunset trip makes its way to Ryegate and back. The cost of the ticket will include one seasonal beverage – cocktail, mocktail, beer, wine, or soft drink – plus appetizers from St. Johnsbury Distillery and cider donuts from Eddie’s Bakery. Proceeds from this premium ride help keep regular-ride tickets affordable for the local community.
Boarding begins 15 minutes before departure, and passengers must arrive no later than 10 minutes before departure to check in. Trains leave promptly. Online ticket sales end at midnight on Friday, Oct. 9; remaining tickets, if available, may be purchased at the Welcome Center the morning of the event by cash or check.

The scenic foliage train rides are part of Discover St. Johnsbury’s event offerings during the festival, which is presented by Passumpsic Bank.

Cam Schlittler giving up only 2 hits and no runs in 6 and a third innings of work. Boston will have to have a short term memory as the 2 teams will do battle again tonight in the possible elimination game for the Red Sox. Boston will send Sonny Gray to the mound. First pitch at 8pm.

The North Country boys soccer team got a big win over Spaulding on Tuesday night by a score of 1-0. Brandon Phillips with the lone goal for NCU. North Country will take on Lyndon Institute on Friday at 4pm.
The Lake Region boys dropped their matchup Tuesday to Harwood 5-0. The Ranger boys will host Lamoille on Friday at 4pm.
The North Country Lady Falcons soccer team hosts Harwood tonight while the Lady Rangers will host Spaulding. Both kickoffs at 4:30pm.
