Christopher L. Degreenia was released by Judge Justin P. Jiron

Christopher L. Degreenia was arrested in June on multiple misdemeanor charges and was released by Judge Justin P. Jiron on conditions and $200 bail. But on Sunday, police said Degreenia, 33, was found at Maplefields on Western Avenue in St. Johnsbury passed out at the gas pumps in a stolen vehicle.  The vehicle was still running, the headlights and tail lights were on, and the windows were completely fogged over, making it hard to see in. Degreenia pleaded not guilty on Monday to felony operation of a vehicle without the owner’s consent and two counts of violating conditions of release. Judge Jiron then set conditions of release and $500 bail. According to court documents, the car was reported stolen by William Debonville, 55.
