Kinney Drugs named its 2024 Quest for Excellence Award Winner

Kinney Drugs named its 2024 Quest for Excellence Award Winner at its annual Leadership Conference at Turning Stone Resort in Verona, NY. The company’s highest honor is the Quest for Excellence Award, given to one employee who represents a true sense of ownership, showcases excellence in customer service, and drives positive outcomes. This year’s recipient of the Kinney Drugs Quest for Excellence Award is Analesa Muir, Supervising Pharmacist of Store #58 in Derby, Vermont. Analesa was recognized for running her busy pharmacy in an efficient, productive, safe, and patient-centric manner, and for providing exemplary medication therapy management services to her patients. She personally counseled thousands of patients on their medications, helping them overcome challenges such as side effects to ensure that they take their medications as prescribed to achieve best possible health outcomes. Out of more than 40,000 pharmacies, Kinney’s Derby pharmacy was named one of the top pharmacies in the country for providing MTM services. A 2016 graduate of the University of New England in Portland, Maine, Analesa began interning for Kinney Drugs in 2014. In Spring of 2017, she began working as a “floating” pharmacist, covering shifts at various Kinney pharmacies. She joined the permanent staff in Derby in 2019. A lifelong resident of Derby Line. She was promoted to Supervising Pharmacist in December of 2022.
