Morristown Police are investigating a drive-by shooting

Morristown Police are investigating a drive-by shooting Wednesday evening. Police say it happened just after 9:15 p.m. at 205 Center Road. Police say they found evidence of multiple gunshots fired at a residence and a vehicle parked in the driveway. No one was injured. “They located evidence that shots had been fired from the roadway into the residence, as well as a vehicle that had been parked in the driveway,” said Morristown Police Chief Jason Luneau. Police are on the lookout for a black SUV with tinted windows that was reported to be in the area at the time. Luneau says the address is no stranger to law enforcement. Neighbors are a little shaken up by the shooting but not too surprised it happened at the home. “It has been a busy year for us. As of a month ago, our criminal arrests are up 60%. We had a crimes and concerns community forum back in August to address these issues with our community because our community is starting to get frustrated,” Luneau said. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police in Morristown.
