On Aug. 3, a UTV operator suffered serious injuries

On Aug. 3, a UTV operator suffered serious injuries after his UTV rolled over in a gravel pit off the West Black Cambridge Mountain Trail in Cambridge. Jordan Marvel, 24, of Taunton, Mass. lost control when he accelerated while making a tight right turn. The crash remains under investigation. Conservation officers believe there were multiple factors, such as operating off the designated trail, reckless operation and possible impairment.
