Police Seek Information After Vehicle Window Smashed in Orleans Vermont State Police are asking for the public’s help after a vehicle window was smashed overnight on Maple Street in the Village of Orleans. Troopers from the Derby barracks received the report the morning of Wednesday, August 26. According to police, the person who reported it heard something outside their apartment around 3 a.m. When they went outside around 6 a.m., they found a window on their vehicle broken, with pieces of brick nearby. No suspect has been identified. State Police are asking anyone with information, or anyone who has had a similar incident in the area, to get in touch.
