Richard Kendall III, 30, has three more charges against him. Last week, Kendall was arraigned in Court after allegedly stealing an expensive camera from a car at the Fairbanks Inn in March. He pleaded not guilty to felony grand larceny and a misdemeanor charge of violating conditions of release. But on Monday, Kendall pleaded not guilty to the three new felony charges, including grand larceny, forgery and identity theft. On February 20, Kendall allegedly stole a checkbook and a small amount of cash from a truck on Mount Hunger Road in Lyndon. When the family checked their bank account, there was already a pending check for $1200 under the name of Richard Kendall III…The memo line said “Race car labor.” Ofc. Gerrish located Kendall at Northern Vermont Regional Hospital (NVRH) on March 9, 2024. I recognized him as the man in the bank security photos. Kendall’s criminal record shows four Vermont felony convictions, 15 misdemeanor convictions, five violations of probation and nine violations of parole charges. Ofc. Gerrish also wrote that Kendall has criminal records in New Hampshire and Shelbyville, Tennesee. He is now detained at Northeast Correctional Complex in St. Johnsbury.
