State Police are searching for the driver of a vehicle that crashed on a Higgins Hill Road Property
State Police are searching for the driver of a vehicle that crashed on a Higgins Hill Road Property on Thursday and then fled the scene. A Honda Crosstour with tinted glass and front-end damage sat in the front yard at 776 Higgins Hill Road early afternoon on Thursday after it left the road and crossed about 200 feet of the property before hitting a tree. Trooper Adam Aremburg arrived in time to see a man he believes was the driver moving on foot away from the vehicle. The driver is thought to have entered a vehicle police described as a red Chevy Cobalt with expired temporary tags. Trooper Aremburg reported the car was found abandoned in the Price Chopper parking lot later in the afternoon. If anyone has information about the operator of the Crosstour or Cobalt they are asked to contact Trooper Aremburg at the St Johnsbury Barracks, at 802-748-3111.
