State troopers arrested a West Charleston man
State troopers arrested a West Charleston man, alleging he recklessly fired a rifle in Concord on Saturday. Stephen Tremblay, 47, is charged with aggravated domestic assault, reckless endangerment and unlawful mischief, according to a report by Trooper Chad Weikel. State Police were called at 1:35 p.m. on Saturday to a residence on Tremblay Road in Concord. The investigation determined that Tremblay had a physical altercation with a family member before trying to enter the residence. He reportedly struck the entry way door with the stock of a rifle, which caused the rifle to discharge. He allegedly then fired the weapon at a vehicle parked in the driveway multiple times before leaving in his personal vehicle. A search for Tremblay ended with police finding him on Route 5A in Willoughby. He was taken into custody and transported to the state police barracks in St. Johnsbury for processing. Tremblay is scheduled for arraignment in Caledonia Superior Court on today.
