Tragic incident in Westmore where a woman fell to her death

Vermont State Police reported a tragic incident in Westmore where a woman fell to her death in what is believed to be a deliberate act from a scenic lookout on Mt. Pisgah. Police were alerted about unattended personal items near a view spot on the mountain on Saturday morning. This led them to the location of the deceased woman. Detective Trooper Jason Danielsen stated that the act was intentional and not considered suspicious. The woman’s identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin. Assistance was provided by the Glover Ambulance and Westmore Fire Department during the incident.
