Vermont State Police are crediting the public for helping them locate a man
Vermont State Police are crediting the public for helping them locate a man suspected of robbing the Mobil Mart in Lyndon on Sunday. Dalton Kraft, 29, of Newbury, was arrested on Wednesday by State Police, who found him in a vehicle they stopped. Kraft was found so quickly after the robbery because the public pitched in. Multiple tips by the public led to a swift resolution and arrest in this incident. The robbery happened on Sunday evening. Kraft is accused of entering the store and showing the clerk a knife. He then reportedly left with some cash. Surveillance cameras recorded the robber’s entry and exit and the vehicle in which he left the area. Police shared the images with the public. Kraft was charged as a habitual offender with three prior felony convictions. He was ordered held without bail and lodged at Northeast Correctional Complex. The State Police would like to thank the public for the many tips that were received since the robbery. These tips greatly assisted with the investigation.
