A Colchester man was arrested after allegedly physically abusing his baby
A Colchester man was arrested after allegedly physically abusing his baby. The Chittenden Special Investigations Unit says they began an investigation after the 7-week-old was brought to the University of Vermont Medical Center with multiple broken bones Friday. Detectives believe the baby’s father, Joshua Richland, intentionally caused the injuries. He was arrested at his home in Colchester Saturday. Richland was released on court conditions and is expected back in court on Tuesday. The investigation is ongoing.
