Vermont State Police say they believe a man found dead
Vermont State Police say they believe a man found dead in the Connecticut River is Gerard Poulin, a man from Barnet who had been missing since June 3. The body was found by the New Hampshire Fish & Game Department in a portion of the river located in Monroe, N.H., about 10 a.m. on Tuesday. Poulin, 37, hadn’t been seen since June 3 in the area of the Comerford Dam Road in Barnet. His disappearance was reported to state police on the afternoon of June 5. The body was taken to the New Hampshire Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Concord for an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death and to provide confirmation of identity. The preliminary investigation indicates that it is Poulin. Police are asking the public for any information related to the circumstances of Poulin’s death.
