A second person has died from injuries stemming from what police are now characterizing as a domestic violence incident, which occurred Sunday morning in St. Johnsbury. That person, who police did not identify pending an autopsy, died at the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire, where they had been receiving treatment for critical injuries. The autopsy will be performed at the New Hampshire Chief Medical Examiner’s Office in Concord. “All those involved with this incident are local to the St. Johnsbury area,” stated State Police. “No one is in custody.” Police had reported earlier Sunday that responding officers had found one man dead at the scene and several others injured at a Cottage Street home. They stated that they will release the names of those involved following further investigation and notification of relatives.
