Authorities say no charges will be filed in the case of an 18-month-old child who died
Authorities say no charges will be filed in the case of an 18-month-old child who died after being left in a hot car in Milton last month. First responders say they found the toddler unresponsive in the parking lot of a business on Centre Drive in Milton July 24. The child was rushed to the UVM Medical Center but later died. Police on Friday confirmed that the child died from hyperthermia due to environmental exposure. They say the child’s parent forgot to drop him off at daycare on the way to work and he was left inside of the parked vehicle until 5 p.m.
