A West Glover woman was in court on Monday to face an attempted murder charge

A West Glover woman was in court on Monday to face an attempted murder charge. Vermont State Police say early Saturday morning, Jordan Labounty, 35, of Lyndon Center, reported being shot at outside a West Glover home. Investigators determined Labounty was at the home of Alaina Bouchard, 35, when they got into a verbal fight. They say when Labounty was leaving, Bouchard allegedly shot at him, hitting his car in several places, but no injuries were reported. Later Saturday morning, police carried out a search warrant on the property and took Bouchard into custody. She was held without bail and was arraigned Monday afternoon on charges including attempted murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Investigators say this was an isolated incident and there was no threat to the public.
