 A Vermont woman faces child cruelty charges after police say her baby was found with a baggie that contained cocaine residue. Police say after Kelsey Chabot, 29, of Brattleboro, dropped off her 1-year-old at a local day care Friday, a suspicious bag fell out of the baby’s sock. Investigators say they found cocaine residue inside the bag. The child was not harmed. Brattleboro police arrested Chabot. She was released on conditions.
