FedEx to Close Williston Facility in June Cutting 55 Jobs as Part of Nationwide Strategy

FedEx is closing one of its Chittenden County facilities. A spokesperson for the company says the facility on Marshall Avenue in Williston will close in June. Fifty-five people will lose their jobs. The company says employees have known about the closure for several months and that many will be offered other jobs. FedEx says the closure is part of a nationwide transformation strategy and customers should not expect delays in package deliveries.
