Volunteer hunter education instructors will conduct courses in August and September
Vermont’s volunteer hunter education instructors will conduct courses in August and September. Before buying a first hunting license, one must complete the basic hunter education course. Fish and Wildlife Hunter Education Coordinator, Nicole Meier, emphasized the importance of these volunteer instructors, noting they’re key to Vermont’s safety record in hunting. The program offers courses in various areas, with details available on vtfishandwildlife.com. From September 1, only those 18+ can access online courses. Completing the course allows hunting across the U.S. and some international areas.
